Angelo Spagnolo elaborates the limitless beauty of nature through an abstract geometry and a work of chromatic research that plays with the superimposition of different types of enamel and oxide paints. The tiles of the Petali Collection reprise the geometric pentagon, rendered delicate by smooth angles and curved surfaces that thanks to wet moulding create three-dimensional effects.

Easily combined, available in small or large format, these tiles can give rise to a decorative surface full of reflections. It is also possible to use different mixes of clay dough, depending on whether the purpose is decorative or functional. The varnishing is always carried out by spray, a technique requiring two stages to allow the blending of two colours which demands considerable skill and accuracy.
